Service listings on Cotiza Ahora are thoroughly vetted to help customers book with confidence. Our vetting process includes verifying provider identities, reviewing license documents when required, and assessing qualifications of service providers.
Services must meet Cotiza Ahora's standards and requirements, both when the listing is submitted and on an ongoing basis. We periodically evaluate and update our standards as part of our ongoing commitment to quality. If a provider or any part of their service listing does not meet our standards and requirements, certain claims may be removed from the listing, the listing may not be published, the listing may be suspended or removed, or the provider may be removed from Cotiza Ahora.
To help build trust with customers, all service providers must complete Cotiza Ahora's identity verification process to publish a listing. This includes verifying personal information such as legal name, address, phone number, and other contact details.
Our verification process helps ensure that you're booking services from real, accountable providers.
If a service involves activities that require specific licenses, providers must provide documentation of valid and up-to-date licenses related to the service they will be providing. Examples include electrician licenses, plumbing licenses, contractor licenses, or other professional certifications.
Providers initially have 30 days to submit documents for verification. If documents cannot be verified, providers will have one more chance to resubmit before their listing is declined.
If licenses expire, the provider is required to submit updated documents to continue listing their service on Cotiza Ahora.
When a provider submits their service listing, Cotiza Ahora reviews the submission to determine whether it meets our standards and requirements. We review information provided by providers during the onboarding process and partner with third-party verification services to help us vet certain provider qualifications.
We consider criteria like years of experience, education, certifications, awards, portfolios, service offerings, and customer reviews.

After we determine that a provider's listing is qualified for our platform, we continue to perform checks to assess whether it continues to meet our standards and requirements. For example, we regularly evaluate ratings, reviews, and other quality signals to help confirm that providers follow our ground rules for services.
Significant updates to an active listing, such as changes to the service location, offerings, or updates to the provider's employment history, education, or awards, may require another review before the updates can be published.
